What is Plan of Safe Care?

A plan for a Baby who was prenatally exposed to (legal or illegal) substances and is required by law to complete a Plan of Safe Care within 30 days.

Brightpaths is proud to be the community agency supporting families who are required to complete Plans of Safe Care. Our work with families includes plan management, support and providing other resources to families to ensure their success. Our highly trained Plan of Safe Care Specialist, Regina, works side by side with families throughout the duration of the POSC and makes referrals to our Healthy Families program upon complete.
