Brightpaths is excited about being named a recipient of proceeds from the 2019 “Cinema for a Cause” charity event being hosted at theaters across the state by the Georgia Theater Company (GTC) on September 29.  GTC will donate 100% of all admission tickets and concession purchases made locally on that date to Brightpaths and Books for Keeps.  Last year, Brightpaths received more than $7,000 from this event, and we are hoping to increase that amount to more than $10,000 in 2019.

We will be giving away a $25 gift certificate for any Georgia Theater Company venue (Beechwood and University 16 here in Athens).  To register for the prize you can submit your name/email address at our table at “Cinema for a Cause” on the 29th.  The drawing will take place on the 9.30.19 and the winner will be contacted via email.

Please plan on attending a movie at either Beechwood Stadium Cinemas or University 16 Cinemas on September 29 to support Brighpaths’ efforts to develop great childhoods in the Athens area community.
